STRIKER SOCCER TEAMS HAVE A MEMORABLE WEEKEND
Our Striker Splatters went into the 3 v 3 National Tournament at Disneyworld as the #1 ranked team in the country in their age bracket. They made it through to the semi finals still ranked #1 but lost the semi final against a team they had beated 11-4 the previous day. That's soccer! The girls rallied and secured third place with a comprehensive 5-1 victory over a good West Pines team.
Excellent job coach Ben and the girls, Madison, Bailey, Kate, Michelle, Taylor and Elise, you did us and yourselves proud.
CHARITY PENALTY SHOOTOUT AND CROSSBAR CHALLENGE
Saturday July 23rd 9am, Braddock Park.
Our second Charity penalty shootout and crossbar challenge raised in excess of $800 for the Sloan Kettering Memorial Cancer Center. Thank you to all who contributed, your generosity was overwhelming.
ORLANDO CITY SOCCER CLUB & STRIKER SOCCER
On Saturday May 14th our Academy Players were the proud guests of our professional team, Orlando City Soccer Club. Our players got a tour of the stadium, got to go on the field prior to the game before finally leading the teams out onto the field before the big kick off. Our older girls were ball girls for the entire match.
